Blocking out and getting the rebounds “is what really won the game for us,” Jackson said.

Leading scorers for Chilton County were Josh Williams with 12 points and Kern Grantland with 10 points.

Selma (6-1) travels to Dallas County High Friday for the second match-up this season. The two teams met for the first time during the Thanksgiving Tournament. Selma won that match.

“It’ll be tough when we go,” Jackson said.
