John Pettway scored 24 points and added five rebounds and four assists as Keith easily defeated Isabella 68-9 Thursday night.

The game was Keith’s class 1A, area 5 opener and it was never close. Dontavious Thomas was the only other Bears’ player in double figures with 10 points.

Keith again relied on its defense, which has only given up 59 points over its last three games.

The Bears will host Southside (4-2) Friday.

 

Keith 62, Isabella 26 (Girls)

Shatavia Moore scored 14 points to lead Keith to a 62-26 win over Isabella Thursday night on the road.

Harriet Winchester scored 13 points and Zykia Pettway chipped in 12 more for the Bears.

Keith will host Southside Friday night.
