Meadowview Christian 46, First Assembly 43 (Boys)
Justin McGuire scored 14 points Friday to lead the Meadowview Christian boys varsity by First Assembly 46-43.
McGuire was joined in double figures by Garrett Grantham and Alan Stockman, who each scored 10 points apiece for the Trojans (9-4).
Meadowview will host Victory Baptist Tuesday.
Meadowview 35, First
Assembly 11 (Girls)
Taylor Roberts led the way for Meadowview Christian in a runaway win Friday over First Assembly.
Roberts scored 12, Claudia Kendrick added 10 and Christina Dabit scored six to lead the Trojans (10-3) to a 35-11 win.
Meadowview 37, First
Assembly 16 (JV)
Justin McGuire scored 18 points to lead the Meadowview junior varsity team past First Assembly 37-16 Friday.
Zach Duke scored six points and Dylan Pauley had five for the Trojans (8-5).
Autauga Academy 51,
Morgan Academy 46 (boys)
Autauga Academy came from 14 down in regulation and beat Morgan Academy in overtime Friday 51-46.
Sawyer Hopkins led the way for the Senators (7-12) with 10 points. Michael Pickett led Autauga with 22 points.
The Senators dropped to 0-3 in region play with the loss. Morgan’s next game is Thursday against Hooper Academy.
Selma 50, Paul Bryant 35 (Girls)
Selma (16-5) moved to 5-0 in area play with a 50-35 victory over Paul Bryant Friday night.
Areyana Williams led the way for the Lady Saints with 15 points and Jamya Smith chipped in 13 more.
Selma will host Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa Tuesday in the Saints’ final regular season area game of the season.
Ellwood Christian 66,
Akron 63 (Boys)
Jalen Furlow scoed 20 points to lead Ellwood Christian to a 66-63 win over Akron Friday night.
J.D. Gregory had 13 points and 10 rebounds. Rayford Mitchell and C.J. Grimes also scored 13 points for the Eagles.
