A dominant post presence carried the Keith Lady Bears to a 60-42 win over the Wilcox Central Lady Jaguars.

Keith led for the entire game and quickly began pulling away after the first quarter.

Zykia Pettway dominated the post and led all scorers with 27 points.

“The post was very important,” Keith coach Cecil Williams said. “They couldn’t stop it, they couldn’t control it, so we just went down low all night.”

Williams said his team also played stellar defense. Wilcox didn’t score more than 12 points in any quarter.
