The Rebels jumped ahead 13-4 in the first quarter, but Ellwood outscored them 15-13 in the second quarter to make it a 26-19 game at the half.
But the Rebels pulled away in the third quarter, capitalizing of Ellwood turnovers and pushing their lead to double digits where it would remain the rest of the way.
Gabryelle Dunning led the Lady Eagles with 17 points, while Eboni Simpson had 15 points for Ellwood.
Heather Blackburn led the Rebels with 18 points, while Leslie Hinkle added 12 points for Chambers.
The Lady Eagles will play Jackson Academy at 1 p.m. on Saturday in their final game of the regional tournament, which determines the seeding for the AISA state tournament in Montgomery next week.
Clay said her team is going to work hard and fight for the win.
“It’s been a tough road getting here, however, winning last week made us runner-ups in our area and placed us here in the regional,” Clay said. “We’re still competing, we’re still anticipating a win on tomorrow and going on to the state next week in Montgomery.”
