Keith is now one step closer to a state championship.

The Bears defeated Parkway Christian 48-46 in the AHSAA class A central regional final.

Tournament MVP Forrest Pasley lead the Bears with 22 points and 16 rebounds.

Rodney Ellis also reached double figures for Keith with 12 points.

Keith will play in Birmingham in the state semifinal against Pickens County in Birmingham, Tuesday evening at 7:30 at the BJCC.
