Selma took control early by scoring the first 14 points. Dallas County,  a team still trying to find its footing with a roster of young players,  couldn’t keep up on the offensive end.

Selma led 14-2 after the first quarter, 23-2 at halftime and 38-7 after the third quarter. A running clock was used in the fourth quarter.

Areyana Williams scored eight points for the Lady Saints. Alexis Goodwin scored four points to lead Dallas County.

Selma’s next game will be at Wilcox Central Friday.

Dallas County will host Sumter Central Tuesday in the Hornets’ final regular season area game of the year.
