Rev. Guy E. Stone, Jr. age 82 died Feb 18, 2021 at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson Minnesota after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born August 23, 1938 in Selma, and was the oldest son of Guy Stone, Sr and Beulah Guinn Stone. He played football at Albert Parrish high school and was water front director at Camp Grist while in college.

He was ordained as a minister in the Christian Church in 1965 after graduating from Phillips University seminary.

He was privileged to witness the Rev. Martin Luther King Voting Rights March in the same year.  He retired from the ministry  in 2002 to Hutchinson, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, daughter, son and two grand daughters.

Also surviving are sisters, Bettye Bambarger, Anne Stone and Rosemary Trawick and brother, Rocky Stone.Guy was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Lonnie, and sisters, Ellen and Rita. A detailed obituary can be viewed at www.hantge.com.
