Robert Edwin (Bobby) Woodruff, 71, passed away Tuesday December 22, 2020. Graveside services were held Sunday December 27 at 3 p.m. at Oakview Cemetery in Lowndesboro, with Rev. Davey Lyon officiating.

Bobby is survived by his daughter, Roberta Woodruff of Santa Rosa, Florida, and his brother, Perry Woodruff (Kent) of Selma. He is also survived by his nieces Caroline Woodruff Bush ( Allen) and Anne Woodruff Wilbourne ( Frankie), great nephews, Ellis and John Allen Bush, all of Auburn, sister-in-law Kindal Callen, nieces Lauren and Emily Callen, nephew William Callen, and special young men, B.J. and Brent Green. He was predeceased by his wife, Jackie Robinson Woodruff; his parents, Judge and Mrs. O.P. (Buddy) Woodruff; his beloved grandmother, Roberta “Slim” McGavock; brother-in-law, Scott Callen; and a very special friend, Lisa Green. Bobby graduated from Lowndes Academy and attended Auburn University where he lettered in football. He worked on the family farm for many years, then at GE, before spending his last years working for Auto Auction where he made friends across central Alabama.

Bobby loved people and people loved Bobby. He will be missed by many. Pallbearers are Billy McCurdy, David McCurdy, Mac McCurdy, Taylor Bragan, Val Ivey, Johnny Lee MacDowell, Thomas Coker, Herbert Powell, Jimmy Spiegner and Wallace Clark.
