Comer “Tony” Garrett Fendley passed away July 17, 2019 at the age of 75. He was born February 14, 1944 to the late Charles D. Fendley and Maggie Baker Fendley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Dixon; three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy Miley Fendley; son, Gerald (Tonya) Fendley; daughter, Saundra (Kenny) Girlie; grandchildren, Hayden Fendley, Hanna Fendley, Rebecca Fendley, Lauren Smitherman, Cole Dixon, Benson Girlie, Myranda Girlie Langston and Kaylee Girlie; brother, William Blackman; sisters, Evie (Vernon) Thomas, Shirley (Arlon) Thacker, Ann Bedgood and Linda (Farron) York and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Girlie officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.
