Marcurius Nathaniel Atkinson Talton  was born May 30, 1995 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center of Selma. On Wednesday, May 23, 2018 the Master called out for Marcurius and just as he always so humbly obeyed.

Funeral service for Marcurius will be held Saturday June 2, 2018 at 1p.m. from Potter’s Place in Selma . Pastor Nathaniel Holloway of St. James Baptist Church will officiate and burial will follow in St. James Baptist Church cemetery. Public viewing will be held Friday June 1, 2018 from Miller Funeral Home from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. He leaves to cherish in loving memories: mother; Manatha Atkinson(Shawn Armstead )and family. father Rev. David (Xavier) Talton Sr. four brothers, Teion(Kaitlyn), Jadarius, David Jr. and Josiah;  one niece; Aniya Talton ,grandparents; Cleophus and Rebecca Atkinson, Nathaniel Walker and Susie Bates. Six aunts; Loretta(Theopolis) Smith, Jacqeuline (Keith) Phillips, Sola Walker, Gloria(David) Jones, Jenobia(Russell) Alexander and Jessica Talton ;nine uncles, Douglas(Shalinda) Atkinson ,Thomas(Kathy)Atkinson, Raffus Atkinson, Sylvester Atkinson , James Howard, Micheal(Shelia) Howard, William(Teresa) Howard,  Rodrick(Renae) Talton and Timothy(Shawanda) Talton.
