Rev. Roosevelt “Sugar Lump” Marzette Sr., 82, of Sardis, passed away Jan. 29, 2017, at Park Place Nursing Facility. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at New Shiloh Baptist Church in Sardis with the Rev. Byron Butler officiating. Burial will follow in New Shiloh Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bertha Marzette; children, Jean (Silverio) Marzette Williams, Roosevelt (Amy) Marzette Jr., Jackie (Curtis) Marzette Weidrick, Clemente (Ebony) Marzette, Raphael (Measjah) Marzette; dedicated sister-in-law, Oradee Hall Marzette; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
