Mr. Walter Ghant, 58 of Selma, Alabama passed away on October 7, 2014. Services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Shiloh Baptist Church, burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Orrville, Alabama.

Services will be officiated by Pastor Karl Lewis and directed by Miller Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Williams Ghant, stepson Dwight (Tiffnie) Williams, daughter, Nancy (Terry) Ward, grand children Armada Ward, Taylor Ellis, Tyler Ellis, Keterri Ellis and Kenchavious Ellis.  Brothers, Allen (Elizabeth) Ghant Jr., Daniel Ghant, James (Doris) Ghant, Terry Wayne Miller, Charles (Janice) Ghant, and Roosevelt Wilmer. Sisters, Macie Ghant, Sarah  (Beyonza) Jackson, Louise (James) Cleveland Sr., Georgia Ann Miller and Linda Jean Myatt. Mother-In-Law, Hasie Williams and Aunt, Dorothy Parnell.
