Lester D. McMasters

Virginia Beach – Lester Duwayne McMasters went to be with his Lord September 7, 2013. He was born in Metz, W. Va., December 16, 1925. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Lillie McMasters and his siblings George, Ray, Robert, Ralph and Norma Jean Westfall.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sara Jane McMasters and their four children Linda Cheryl Morrow (Leonard), Robert D. McMasters (Sue), Lexine Diane Tanski (Arthur) and David Keith McMasters (Anita). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Navy in the Pacific theatre. He was a proud life member of the American Legion and the VFW. He retired after 40 years at the Jones and Laughlin Steel Mill Plant in Aliquippa Pa.

He was a devoted husband and father and he will be missed by all who loved him.
