Myrtle Brooks Goodman, age 84, passed away Wednesday January 9, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Lee Goodman; sister, Mable Labbe; and brother, Amos Brooks Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Hill; sons, James Carr, Robert Carr (Joyce), and Roger Goodman (Cathy); grandchildren, Rodney Carr, Kimberly Smith, Ashley Turner, Roger Lee Goodman II, Jennifer McElroy Scott, Pamela Williams, Jamie Smitherman and Ora Williams; sisters, Dot McCully, Doris Henderson, Ann Sewell; and brother, James Prentice Brooks; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Services will be held Friday January 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Lawrence Brown- Service Funeral Home burial following at Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday January 10, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Roger Lee Goodman II, Wayne Labbe, Earl Scott, Cecil Williams, Derek McElroy, Robert McElroy, Jeff Smitherman and Wes Williams.
