Deacon Percy L. Tripp Jr., 71, resident of Selma, passed away December 29, 2012 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Services are scheduled for January 5, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Community Church officiated by Pastor Joseph Coleman Jr. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery directed by Walker Mortuary.He was preceded in death by parents.

Survivors include three sons, Kelsey (Keeshanda) Tripp, Selma, Rodney McGuire, Chicago Heights, IL, and Jamison Terry, Birmingham, AL; one daughter, Gloria Ivory, Birmingham, AL; brother, Moses Tripp; four sisters, Ella Tripp, Jesse Coor, Elizabeth Williams, and Katie Winston; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, one brother-in-law, two sisters-in-laws, a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Samaritan Men of St.Paul and nephews.
