Mary Estelle Griffith, age 72, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away December 31, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd E. Griffith and sisters, Voncile Lee and Louise Smith.

She is survived by her brother, L. G. (Mildred) Langford; sisters, Earlene Howell, Ivy Nell Jones, Betty Leatherland (Dave) Bouley and Sue Stacy (Gene York) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 4, 2013 at Selma Funeral Home at 1:00 with Rev. Linda Tarver and Bro. Michael Beard officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Robby Jones, Jason Jones, Wayne Plummer, Charles Vasser, Denny Antisdale and Raburn Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be the Honor Guard of the VFW Post.

Estelle was a member of the VFW Post 30 Ladies Auxillary.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123-1718.
