Doris Anne Hooper Jones , born August 28, 1927 in Selma, Dallas County, AL, passed away, Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in Mobile, AL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Hixson and Sammy and Anita Parks officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 12th from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.

Doris was the wife of the late, Clyde W. Jones of Clayhatchee, AL.

Carpenter; great-grandchildren, Tully Mitchell; Jack Mitchell; Claire Mitchell; Emmy Mitchell; Ryly Mitchell; step-children, Stephen Jones (Melba); Stanley Jones (Cheryl); Ibbie Denise Andrews (Danny); step-grandchildren, Ben Jones (Chrissy); Kathryn Strickland (Ben); Juli Jauretche (Fernando); Kirby Jones; Adam Jones (Jolie); Aaron Jones; Daniel Andrews; Douglas Andrews (Angelique); siblings, Jean H.
