Gearldine Adams, 52, Selma, AL died Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at a Montgomery County Hospital. Services are scheduled for 1 pm, Saturday, October 25, 2008, at the Elbethel Baptist Church, Selma with the Rev. JJ Peterson officiating, under the direction of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Adams; two step sons, Kuambe Woods and Calvin Jackson; four step daughters, Pamela Norwood, Victoria Adams, Joanna Burkette and Janice McQueen; ten brothers, Otis Harris, Willie Neely, Thomas Neely, Clarence Neely, Martin Neely, Josh Neely, Percy Neely, Charles Neely, Johnny Neely and Irvin Neely; three sisters, Cora Billingsley, Helen Kelton and Delane Mitchell; three sisters-in-laws, Ethel, Janice and Mattie; one Aunt, Mamie (James) Pryor; two great Aunts, Pinkie Edwards and Iona Minniefield; three special friends, Estell Thomas, Annie Washington and Juanita (Rev. Sam) Thomas; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and church family.
Pall bearers will be nephews, flowersbearers, nieces, friend and ushers.
