Michael Haynes Collins, age 55, of Selma, died Friday November 7, 2008. Survivors include his wife Teresa Sullivan Collins, sons; Michael Haynes Collins Jr., (Katie) of Montgomery, AL, Robert Earle Collins and fiancé Amanda of Auburn, AL, brother; Steve Collins of Equality, AL, and sister; Chere Flanagan of Tuscaloosa, AL. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday November 9, 2008 at Pineview Memory Gardens with Reverend Fred Zeigler, Reverend Steve Collins and Reverend Lee Tate officiating and Lawrence Brown–Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Saturday November 8, 2008 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ron Hollis, Doug Smith, Justin Hollis, John Cox, Johnny Watts, Billy Watts, Forrest Hughes, and Buc Shaw. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Hughes, Jim Cox and Mike’s baseball players.
