Ovetta Jackson, 85, resident of Chicago, IL., passed  away July 20,  2012 in Chicago, IL. Services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012, 12:00 noon at Rising Star P.B. Church, Orrville, AL, officiated by Rev. Eugene Bennett. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include two sons, Clarence Lewis and William Moppins, Sr.; two sisters, Ethel Tolbert and Lula Brown; ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, three daughters-in-laws, a host of nieces and nephews.
