James Laine Carter, age 53, of Plantersville, AL, died Wednesday January 7, 2009. Survivors include his sons; James Laine Carter Jr. of Selma, AL, Christopher Brandon Carter of Jacksonville, FL, sisters;
Charlotte Blackmon of Selma, AL, Susan Hughey of Valley Grande, AL, Pamela Burrows of Manlius, N.Y., Tammy Miley of Valley Grande, AL, and a grandchild, Taylor James Carter.
A chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 11, 2009 at Lawrence Brown- Service Funeral Home with Reverend Alan Yarbrough officiating and burial following at Plantersville Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday January 10, 2009 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Hughey, Jake Day, Wade Ousley, Jere Blackmon, David Burrows and Sam Burge.
