James Larry Wiggins, 60, died Monday, February 2, 2009. Services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Meadowbrook Baptist Church. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery, Selma, AL under the direction of Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
Mr. Wiggins was born in Monroeville, AL on October 24, 1948. He was in the car business during his adult life. He loved to hung and fish and was a huge Alabama football fan. Mr. Wiggins loved to be with his family and was an active and devoted father and husband. He left a lasting impression on anyone who was fortunate to have known him. Mr. Wiggins is now with his Heavenly Father, rejoicing with a new body and mind.
He was preceded in death by his father, Slaughter Wiggins and brother, Mickey Wiggins.
Survivors include his wife, Connie T. Wiggins, of Gadsden, AL; sons, Taylor L. (Anna) Wiggins of Gadsden, AL, and H. McKinley (Stacy) Wiggins of Birmingham, AL; sister, Linda (Glen) Bedsole of Ft. Walton, FL; brother, Wayne (Rhonda) Wiggins of Mobile, AL; mother, Augustine Wiggins of Frisco City, AL; and grandchildren, Carson, Hayes, Allie and Ainsley Wiggins. In lieu of flowers: Memorials may be made to Breakaway Ministries, P.O. Box 1552, Gadsden, AL 35902, Phone 256-543-8008. Pallbearers: Michael G. Bedsole, Jeremy Wiggins, Justin Wiggins, Jamie Wiggins, Andrew Wiggins, Ryan Chamberlain, Richard Chamberlain, Justin Chamberlain and John Daly Baumhauer.
Visitation will be held 1-2 PM Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church.
