Ellis “Pedo” Toussiant Sevin, Jr., age 60, of Selma, formerly of Marrero, LA., passed away on Saturday February 1, 2009. Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 5, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Summerlin officiating and burial to follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.
Pedo is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gladyce Sevin, and his brother, Walter Sevin. Pedo is survived by his sister, Linda G. Sevin, step-daughter, Rebecca (Scott) Strickland, niece, Virginia (Darren) S. Cowards, great-nephew, Alex Chase Dunaway, sister-in-laws, Pam Harrell (Ronnie), Nancy Cleckler (Jackie), brother-in-law, Kenny Getchell (Ann), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Getchell, Ronnie Harrell, Joe Harrell, Kyle Cleckler, Wayne Barlow, George Hayes, and all of his poker buddies.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 4, 2009 from 6-8 at the funeral home.
