Alonzo Roy Moorer, 89, of Prattville, formerly of Selma died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at a Prattville Nursing Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Casey Church of Christ with Min. Terry Gunnels and Conrad Moorer officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Frances Godwin Moorer; three sons, Conrad (Cynthia) Moorer, Calvin (Cheryl) Moorer, and Curtis (Darlene) Moorer; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Mr. Moorer was retired from Craig Airforce Base, a Veteran of World War II, and a former member and elder of Casey Church of Christ.
