Mrs. Ruth H. Barnes, 84, of Selma, Alabama formerly of Detroit, MI died Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 11:00 am at Christian Light Baptist Church, Safford, AL officiated by Alex Tenner, Jr. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
She was preceded in death by her son, Fredrick Wilson, and one daughter, Brenda Wilson.
Survivors include two daughters, Ernestine Dickerson and Bennie Gladdney; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
