No. 10 Fort Dale Academy cruises past Morgan Academy

Fort Dale Academy spoiled Morgan Academy’s home debut on Friday night.
Joseph Ealum scored three touchdowns as the 10h ranked Eagles prevailed 41-16.
The Senators (1-3) lost for the third time this season, all against ranked opponents.
“Fort Dale has a very good team and we weren’t very good tonight,” Senators coach Danny Raines said.
Fourteen seconds into the game, Dane Winters returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for a touchdowns as the Eagles led 7-0 after one quarter.
Raines said the game turned late in the seccod quarter as the Eagles led only 14-0 on Ealum’s first touchdown.
The Senators failed to convert a fourth down at the Eagles’ 35-yard-line.
Fort Dale completed 60-yard pass led to Ealum’s second touchdown. Alan Alvarez’ 42-yard field gave Fort Dale a commanding 24-0 halftime lead.
“I was real disappointed how the game got away from us in the second half of the second quarter,” Raines said.
Ealum’s 11-yard TD run and Alvarez’s 27-yard field goal put Fort Dale up 34-0 after three quarters.
Morgan Academy avoided a shutout when Cade Tellier and Speedie Pernell connected on two touchdowns. Tellier ran both two-point conversions.
Cole Salter’s 9-yard TD run glose the game’s scoring.
Morgan Academy entertains Wilcox Academy next Friday.
