Central Alabama Farmers Co-Op General Manager Tim Wood was named E.P. Garrett Manager of the Year by Alabama Farmers Cooperative.

Wood received the award at the AFC’s 86th annual meeting last weekend in Montgomery.

Wood said he’s honored to receive the award.

“It’s nice to recognize a group of people who work together, every day, knowing we are a vital part of the agricultural community,” Wood said. “ I have never done anything and hoped for an award, but I have done a lot, trying to be the best at what we do every day.”
