Southside and Keith were the only Dallas County schools to clinch berths in the Southwest Regional finals. Dallas County and Selma fell short.

Tae Spears scored 26 points as the Panthers hammered Hillcrest-Evergreen 72-58 in the second round of the 3A Sub-Regionals.

Southside 72, Hillcrest-Evergreen 58: Chris Bonner scored 13 points and Jaylen Kennedy added 11 for the Panthers. Chris Thomas scored only five points, but had 11 assists. Southside was too quick for the taller Jaguars.

Keith 76, Millry 60: Terrell Lumpkin scored 29 points as the Bears advanced to the Class 1A Southwest Regional final. Tommy Tisdale III added 19 points and DeCarlos Moore scored 12 for Keith, who meets unbeaten Autaugaville for a berth in the Final Four next week.

LeFlore 56, Selma 46: Jarvis Moss scored 15 points in his final high school game for the Saints.

Geneva 69, Dallas County 65: Geneva upset the fourth-ranked Hornets at home in round two of the Class 4A Sub-Regionals.
