Keith High School guard Tommy Tisdale III will play college basketball in the state of Georgia.

Tisdale has verbally committed to play at Brewton Parker College, an NAIA school based out of Mount Vernon, Georgia.

The 6-foot-3 Tisdale is coming off a stellar senior season averaging 27 points, eight rebounds and seven assists a game for the Bears.

Tisdale also played in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Basketball game. 

Keith High basketball coach Marcus Turner said he is proud of the accomplishments of Tisdale, a four-time All-State selection by the Alabama Sportswriters Association.

“It couldn’t have happened to a better kid,” Turner said. “The work he puts in daily, I’m extremely happy for him.”
