The Dallas County Sheriff Office and Northside Baptist Church led a group of local organizations to bring donations to Brantley Elementary School.
The DCSO and Northside Baptist Church brought an assortment of school supplies and coats to Brantley Elementary School on Thursday afternoon. The Ladies of ESA, Praise Park, Coell, Selma Funeral Home, Wal-mart, Gardner Electric were among the organizations that donated.
“Northside Baptist Church called us and we chose to adopt Brantley Elementary,” Dallas County Sheriff Mike Granthum said. “We know that money is tight because of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
“We called Sheriff Granthum and he said that Brantley Elementary needed supplies,” Northside Baptist Church member Kathy Smith said. “We posted it on Facebook and several businesses stepped up.”
Brantley Elementary Principal Adrienne Lee said she’s grateful to receive the donations to help rebuild the school.
“We appreciate the donations given to the school,” Lee said. “We’re thankful for everything they gave us.”
