Keith storms back to overtake Central-Haneyville
Keith High held off Central-Haneyville 34-32 on Friday night at J.V. Caldwell Stadium in Orrville.
It was Senior Night for the Bears (4-2, 3-1 Region 3, 1A).
The Bears got off to a slow start, scoring no points in the first quarter.
Keith began to find its footing in the second quarter with a touchdown pass from Terrell Lumpkin to Jalen Jones, followed by a completed 2-point conversion.
Lumpkin and Jones connected on another touchdown, as Keith led 14-8.
The Lions scored 16 unanswered points for a 24-14 halftime lead.
The Bears clawed their way back in the second half, outscoring Central-Haneyville 18-8 in the second half.
Jones scored the game-winning touchdown with four minutes left.
