Thelma Jane Freeman went home to be with her Lord Sunday,  April 5, 2020 at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt Freeman; daughter, Gina Freeman Friede; parents, James and Thelma Smith; stepmother, Chloe Smith; sister, Dale Edmonson and brother, Jerry Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Shelia Freeman, Shirley Roberts and Maria (Kevin) Freeman; grandchildren, Junior Friede, Barbara Friede, Debbie (Jared) Dunn, Nathan Freeman, Sara Freeman, Danielle (Steven) Russo, Heavenly Freeman, Becky (Lane Wallace) McCormick, Bradley Freeman and Shirley Friede; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (John) Turnbow; numerous nieces and nephews and her special fur-children, Romeo and Lil’Bit-Dustpan.

The service will be officiated by Rev. Matt Klimis. The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice for their loving care. The family invites you to join the service live on www.facebook.com/LawrenceFH at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2020. She will be laid to rest at New Live Oak Cemetery.
