Dallas County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Marathon Gas Station robbery
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the robbery of a Marathon Gas station on Highway 80 East earlier this week.
According to Dallas County Sheriff Mike Granthum, a video showed a masked suspect entering the gas station with a gun between 11:20 and 11:50 p.m. on Jan. 12, demanding money where two people were working the shift.
Granthum also said the suspect jumped over the counter, took $12,000 in cash, took off on foot and was headed toward Craig Field.
Granthum said no shots were fired and no one was injured during the robbery.
The case remains under investigation by the DCSO. Granthum said evidence has been sent to forensics.
