On Sunday, the YMCA of Selma and Dallas County held a fall festival event.

Austin Williams who works with the YMCA in multiple ways including marketing and media said this was a way to give back to the community that has supported the YMCA.

For only $2 per person, attendees were able to participate in activities such as face painting, hay rides, balloon pops, ring tosses and more.

There also was a PS4 gaming tournament as well.

Local businesses and shop owners had vendors set up including the Tally-Ho food truck who was available for food and other food vendors were on hand.

The parents were able to participate as well especially in Bingo and cake walks.

Vendors included jewelry, clothing and artwork.

“It went great,” said Williams. “The kids had a blast, and the vendors all had good things to say regarding business. We had a decent turnout participation wise and I’m just excited that the festival was a success.”
