A Selma man has been arrested in connection to a Nov. 9 murder.

Winston Harris, 65, was charged with murder on Sunday, according to Selma Police Chief Spencer Collier.

Harris is charged with the murder of Ricky Dewayne Sanders, 42, of Selma.

Sanders’ body was found on Friday, Nov. 9 around 8 a.m. on Lamar Avenue in Selma.

Harris has been processed into the Dallas County Jail with no bond.

Collier said he praised the hard work of criminal investigators for their persistence in leading to the arrest.
