Dallas County 79, Jemison 57 (Boys)

Dallas County (13-4) assured itself a tie for the class 5A, area 6 regular season title Friday night with a 79-57 win over Jemison.

The win leaves the Hornets and Calera — who won Friday night against Marbury — in a tie at the top of the area standings. Both teams defeated each other once, meaning the tiebreaker is likely to be a coin flip to determine which team hosts the area tournament.
