Letter thanks supporters of job fair

Dear editor,
On behalf of the Department of Human Resources JOBS Unit and myself, I would like to take this opportunity to say, “Thank You.” Thank you all for supporting the great works and efforts of the department with their 20th Year JOBS Fair for the community of Selma.
I would like to recognize the following for their valuable contribution made to make this year’s event a great success: Mayor George Evans, who brought greetings on behalf of city government, CVS Drug Store, Gospel Tabernacle Church, Selma Beauty Supply, Pilcher McBride, Brown Drug Store, Dollar Saver Store, Swift Drug, Marvin’s, Holley True Value, Butler Traux Jewelers, Allez-Oup/Carter Drug Store, Purple Tulip, Well Studio, One Way Book Store, International Paper, Cozby Wireless, Washington Street Supermarket, Pepsi, Wal-Mart, Selma Cash Saver, Dave’s Market, Save-A-Lot, Selma Curb Market, Selma Family Restaurant, American Wings & Seafood, The Coffee Shoppe, Daylight Donuts, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Summer Grove Baptist Church, Ellwood Community Church, Body of Christ Bible Study Ministry, City of Selma, Selma Times Journal for your news coverage, the many employers and agencies represented and most importantly the jobseekers for coming out in great numbers to learn of the various employment opportunities from employers in the Selma area.
You all are the best and again, you are to be commended for all you do in making Selma the best and a place we can all believe in.
