Janice Cornelius Jarvis, age 79, of Selma, passed away on May 29, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jarvis Jr.; parents, James B. and Laura Lucille Daniels; son, Charles Wayne Jarvis; daughter, Mary Hudson and her husband, Doyle; brother, James “Buddy” Daniels; and sister, Mary Inez Hobson.
Surviving are her children, Patricia (Randy) Herrod, Scott (Joyce) Jarvis and Michael B. (Cheryl) Jarvis; brother, Frank Daniel; sisters, Mattie Boutwell and Lucy Blackmon; 16 grandchildren; 27 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with brother Daniel Martin officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30-2 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Scott Jarvis, Michael Jarvis, Randy Faulk, Doyle Hudson, Dakota Jarvis and Phillip Kelly.
Janice was proud of her service in nursing at Vaughan Regional Medical Center for more than 50 years.
