Dear editor,

I have enjoyed the Selma Times-Journal since 1952 when I moved to Selma to open a drug store. I appreciate the Times-Journal covering local news so thoroughly. I also commend the Times-Journal coverage of state, national and international needs.

My favorite contributions to the Times-Journal, however, are the interesting articles written by James Smith.

Mr. Smith demonstrates over and over his patriotism and vast knowledge through his writing. He is a civic minded citizen and a fine Christian man.
