Mr. Freddie Lee Jones Sr., (Boone) was born August 7, 1932. He departed this life on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the University of Alabama Hospital located in Birmingham, Alabama.

Mr. Jones worked for Cosby Carmichael as a Heavy Duty Equipment Operator for 30 years. Mr. Jones was known as the greatest Heavy Duty Equipment Operator at Cosby Carmichael. He recently retired this year in the month of June 2014. Mr. Jones worked for Dallas Sand and Gravel as a Plant Foreman.

He leaves to mourning his sister Lillie Knight and family in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a father of eleven beautiful children, Mary (Jimmy) Simpson, Freddie Lee Jr., Lillie Jones, Rosa (Cecil) Smith, Michael (Carol) Jones, Leonard (Paloma) Jones, Anthony (Carmen) Jones, Jennifer Jones, Delores Hayes, Ronnie Jackson, Vivian Blevins, and special god daughter, Irene Simpson. Funeral services will be held at Second Baptist Missionary Church, Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 1:00p.m.
