Concordia College Alabama’s soccer team saw its season come to an end Friday in the semifinals of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association national tournament.
The Hornets lost to undefeated University of Maine-Fort Kent 2-0. The game went to halftime scoreless, but Kennard Brown and Ben Kluvers scored second half goals to lead MFK to the USCAA championship against West Virginia Tech.
Concordia had reached the semifinals after defeating Illinois Tech on Thursday. This year’s team finished with twelve regular season wins and reached the USCAA national championship tournament for the second time in the past three seasons.
