Dear editor,
A few days ago, I was in the Vaughan hospital emergency room with a family member when a man came into the ER with a seizure.
He had no pulse and I watched Dr. Park Chittom Jr. lead the ER staff in a code that lasted more than an hour. He was calm, organized and professional as were the entire staff. The patient finally had a heartbeat and at last report had a good chance for recovery.
I was very impressed and left happy the patient was alive. Even better, it is nice to know such competent medical care is available here in Selma.
