Morgan Academy’s Lady Senators fell to East Memorial Christian Academy 59-38 Friday night at the Morgan Pepsi Classic.

The Lady Senators were down 25-16 at halftime, but were outscored 17-4 in what ended up being a decisive third quarter.

“I had some girls that got in foul trouble that I had to keep on the bench the majority of the third quarter,” Morgan Academy head coach Jennifer Moore said about her team’s third quarter struggles.

Moore was pleased with how the Senators press allowed her team to creep back into the game in the fourth quarter, but it was a little too late.

The Lady Senators play at 4 p.m. against South Choctaw Saturday.
