Mr. Roy R. Robson, Sr., 70, of Adel, GA passed away Thursday October 3, 2013 at his home. He was born August 1, 1943 in Columbus, MS to the late Roy and Araminta Coward Robson. He has lived in Cook County since 1989 and was a retired accountant for J.H. Harvey Company and a member of First Baptist Church of Adel.

Mr. Robson is lovingly remembered by all of his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Frances P. Robson of Adel, GA; a son and daughter-in-law, Roy R. “Robby”, Jr. and Delaine Robson of Camden, AL; a daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Robson of Rockmart, GA; a granddaughter, Brooke and Bo Faas; a grandson, Jimmy Robson; three great-grandchildren: Noah, Josie and Reagan Faas; a sister and brother-in-law, Minta and Neil McDavid of Montgomery, AL; seven nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM Saturday October 5, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Adel, GA with Rev. Blake Harwell and Rev. Jon McCranie officiating. Another service will take place on Monday October 7, 2013 in the Chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home, 63 Camden Bypass in Camden, AL, with Rev. Neil McDavid officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Camden, AL on Monday October 7, 2013. Mr. Robson’s family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM on Monday October 7, 2013 at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home in Camden, AL.
