Linda Ivey Hopkins, 66, resident of Valley Grande, AL, passed away May 5, 2013 in Vestavia Hills, AL. She was born December 5, 1946 in Marion to the late Henry Trawick and Mary Cooke Ivey.

She is preceded in death by parents; daughter, Leah Ivey Hopkins; sister, Valda Jo Ivey Twilley; brother, Henry Watson Ivey, II.

Survivors include husband, Edgar Levert Hopkins, Valley Grande, AL; daughter, Leslee Hopkins Hunter (William Gouldman hunter), Birmingham; son, Chadwick Levert Hopkins (Layton Waters Hopkins), Birmingham; brother, Val Trawick Ivey, Montgomery; grandchildren, Wilkins Trawick hunter, Mary Cothran Hunter, and Collins Lucille Hopkins.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, May 9, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11.

Pallbearers will be Will Hunter, Henry Ivey, Walter Edwards, Harold Edwards, Joe Ivey, Phillip Hopkins, Arthur Lee Hopkins.
