Myla “Pinkie” Ford, age 85, of Killeen, TX and formerly of Selma, AL, passed away March 22, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos. A. “Rocky” Ford and her parents, William Grady and Annie Bell Benefield Taylor.

She is survived by her children, Miles M. (Evelyn) Ford, Annabelle Ford (John) Petri, W. Gregory Ford, Patrick David (Pamela) Ford and Ellen Ford (Lex) Bozeman; sister, Jewel Taylor Dunleavy; grandchildren, Matthew K. Johnson, Christopher L. Johnson, Jeremy M. Ford, Amanda Petri, Michael D. Ford, Richard P. Ford and Grace Ellen Ford and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clarke Skelton officiating. Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service at 12:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Miles Ford, Gregory Ford, Patrick Ford, Matthew Johnson, Christopher Johnson and Michael Ford. Honorary pallbearers will be Burt Seago, John Petri and Amanda Petri.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Odyssey Hospice, 2626 South 37th Street, Temple, TX, 76504.
