The Board of the Sturdivant Museum Association thanks the Selma community for their huge support of our annual “Barbeque on the Green.” This year we had more than 400 people enjoy good food, good company and good music – making for a truly memorable evening. The proceeds from the event make possible the continued preservation and maintenance of one of Selma’s true local treasures.

Our sincere thanks also to The Selma Times-Journal for your corporate sponsorship, and to the staff for your outstanding coverage of this event. Your articles not only bring people to the BBQ but let the entire community know how important Sturdivant Hall is as a museum, tourist attraction, and venue for events such as weddings, receptions and other social gatherings.
