Russell Craig “Rusty” Moye

A memorial service was held for Russell Craig “Rusty” Moye on September 30, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church of Cairo, Georgia.

Mr. Moye passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Ga. on September 27, 2012.

Mr. Moye was from Cairo, GA. where he served as the County Administrator for Grady County. Mr. Moye had lived in Selma for ten years and was employed at that time for Hammermill as the plant engineer. Mr. Moye and his wife, Patsy, were members of Church Street United Methodist Church.

Mr. Moye is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Mary Patricia Childs “Patsy” Moye; sons and daughter-in-law, Matthew P Moye of Cairo, GA., Russell C. and Christina C. Moye of Albany, GA.; grandchildren, H. Ryker and Vivian Baylor Moye of Albany, GA.; brothers, William R. Moye of Panama City, FL., Steven K. Moye of Cairo, GA., Mark A. Moye of Cairo, GA.; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Karen E. and Donald Palmer of Pelham, GA., Ronnie M. and Curtis Lashley of Cairo, GA., Celeste M. and Miguel Hernandez of Woodville, FL; mother-in-law, Vivian Childs of Cairo, GA.; a host of nieces and nephews.
