Dear editor,

On behalf of all of the members of the Selma Lions Club, I would like to say “THANK YOU” to the citizens of the cities of Selma and Valley Grande and to the citizens of Dallas and surrounding counties for showing their support in the recent Central Alabama Fair. Because of their support, we will be able to continue our work with the Alabama Sight Conservation and the Alabama Insitute for the Blind. Their support will also help towards our being able to help the local charities, some of which include the Salvation Army, Sabra House, Boy Scouts, and The Red Cross. We will be able to continue our local sight work in providing optical care including eye exams and glasses for the locally underprivileged.

We would also like to give special thanks to all of our sponsors and our volunteers whose help allows us to continue to bring the Fair to Selma each year for all to enjoy, including us.  It gives us great joy to see one and all having a good time!

Again let me say thanks for all the support and help for making this year’s Fair another great success.
